How much does Mount Batur trekking cost?+
The shared trek is IDR 550,000 per person. A private trek starts at IDR 1,300,000 for two, with group rates available. Hot spring, Ubud and Jeep packages are IDR 700,000, 750,000 and 650,000 per person respectively. See each package for additional costs.
Can first-time hikers join?+
The route is uphill with uneven volcanic ground. First-time hikers with reasonable fitness can consider it, but it is physically demanding. Discuss mobility needs and concerns before choosing a package. The Jeep experience offers an alternative without the summit hike.
Is hotel pickup included?+
Ubud pickup is included for applicable arrangements. Hotels outside Ubud may incur a transport surcharge. Share your accommodation name and location so the timing and any additional cost can be confirmed.
Is hot spring admission included?+
No. The IDR 700,000 trekking and hot spring package excludes hot spring admission, which is paid at the venue. The private calculator’s hot spring transport add-on also excludes admission.
What time does the experience start?+
Trekking starts in the early hours to reach the viewpoint around sunrise. Pickup depends on your hotel, package and conditions. Exact times are confirmed before departure; Jeep experiences generally begin later than trekking.
Does submitting an enquiry confirm a booking?+
No. The form prepares your trip details. A booking is confirmed only after availability, pickup, final pricing and terms are agreed. Sunrise visibility depends on weather and cannot be guaranteed.
